From few days, it seems that I have feeling that i am improving my memory! When you remember you seem to have knowledge. You seem to retrieve and somehow use the information of the memory to add to sense. You refer your memory. Remembering is active element of thought. I have been hearing how kids are good in memory driven knowledge and a poor in conceptual understanding or operational knowledge. What I mean here is many kids cannot solve by realizing the conceptual or phenomenological idea behind the problem. Then the only knowledge they can rely upon is the memory based knowledge.
Operational skill/knowledge is important for a successful connection of thought experience. Design makes you solve problems at operational/physical level. What is conceptual knowledge? How does it come? Is it primarily analogical? How does one become good with it?
